Jio Gemini Pro Offer: Last Date and After 18 Months
Jio's terms end the Jio Gemini Pro offer period on 29 October 2026 unless extended. See who qualifies, when 18 free months end and what Google AI Pro costs next.
The ₹35,100 on Jio’s offer page is 18 months of Google AI Pro at ₹1,950 a month, the price Google’s India plan page listed on 16 October 2026, the day I read both. The Jio Gemini Pro offer is free for Jio SIM users aged 18 and above, prepaid or postpaid, on an Unlimited 5G plan of ₹349 or more, and Jio’s FAQ adds plans of ₹299 or more (1.5 GB a day on prepaid) for a limited time; each mobile number can claim it once.
Jio’s pages call it the Google Gemini Offer, and its terms value it the same way, as a subscription “worth ₹1950/month for a period up to 18 months”. The terms also carry the date the offer page leaves out: the offer period ends on 29 October 2026, unless Jio extends it.
Waiting for Jio to extend that date is the bet I would not make: if you qualify and want the plan, claim before 29 October 2026, and on the day you claim, set a reminder for a month before your 18 months end. The free months do not renew, a lapsed recharge can suspend them without moving the end date, and a free Google account comes with 15 GB against the plan’s 5 TB.
Who Can Claim Jio’s Google AI Pro Offer?
As of 16 October 2026, Jio’s offer page gives “full 18 months of Google AI Pro subscription from activation”, worth ₹35,100, to users “above 18 years of age” on an “unlimited 5G plan of Rs 349 or above”. Jio’s terms end the offer period on 29 October 2026; the offer page shows no date.
| Condition | Jio’s wording | Where Jio says it |
|---|---|---|
| Age | ”Free for all Jio Unlimited 5G users aged 18 years and above”; the terms say “above the age of 18 at time of claiming offer” | Offer page, terms |
| Plan | ”an active unlimited 5G plan of Rs 349 or above (prepaid or postpaid mobile)“ | Offer page |
| Cheaper plans, added later | ”For a limited time starting 11 February, users on prepaid plans of ₹299 or above with 1.5 GB/day, and postpaid plans of ₹299 or above, are also eligible” | Jio’s eligibility FAQ |
| Customer type | ”This offer is eligible only for Jio retail users.” | Offer page |
| How often | ”once on every unique mobile number”; the terms add “Only one redemption per Eligible Subscriber is allowed.” | Offer page, terms |
| Keeping it | Users “must continuously maintain an active 5G plan for the entire duration of the offer” | Offer page |
| New to Jio | ”get a new Jio SIM and activate an unlimited 5G plan of Rs 349 or above” | Offer page |
The offer page itself still asks for ₹349: the ₹299 routes appear in Jio’s FAQ and terms only.
How to Claim the Offer in MyJio
The steps on Jio’s offer page:
- “Open the MyJio app and log in to your account.”
- “Look for the Google Gemini offer banner at the top of the home screen.”
- “Tap the banner and register using your Gmail ID to claim your subscription.”
The terms add that Jio can promote the offer in other places, “including WhatsApp or rich communication services (RCS)”, and that you sign up with a Gmail ID “on Google One activation page”.
Corporate and JioHome Routes
These routes run on separate Jio pages, outside the consumer offer page:
- Corporate numbers. Jio’s business page for the offer describes it as an “Exclusive corporate benefit for Jio COCP users on Rs. 349 plans and above”. Its FAQ says “Non-Jio COCP users must be onboarded to Jio COCP Plans (by their employers)”, so this route is for staff whose employer puts them on a COCP plan of ₹349 or more.
- Home broadband. New JioHome connections taken on or after 10 March 2026 with a ₹2,222, ₹3,333 or ₹4,444 quarterly plan as the first recharge “can also claim 18-month of Pro Google Gemini offer worth Rs 35,100”, per Jio’s JioHome offer FAQ. Jio’s start-date FAQ calls it “a limited period offer” and names no end date, and its eligibility FAQ says “Existing users are not eligible for this offer.”
What Is the Last Date for the Jio Gemini Pro Offer?
The last date is 29 October 2026, unless Jio changes it. Jio’s terms say: “The Offer shall start from 30th October 2025 and remain valid until 29th October 2026, or such other date as may be decided by the Company at its sole discretion (‘Offer Period’).”
The rest of the terms page and the offer page fill in the details, as read on 16 October 2026:
| Question | What Jio’s pages say |
|---|---|
| Does the offer page show the date? | No. It calls the deal an “exclusive limited-time offer” and does not link the offer’s terms page |
| Do I have to claim inside the period? | Yes: the subscription is offered “only if availed during the Offer Period” |
| Can Jio move the date? | Jio “reserves the right to extend, cancel, discontinue, suspend or prematurely withdraw the Offer at any time during its validity”, “without any notice” |
| Do the ₹299 routes have their own end date? | None is given: they run “For limited time period, as decided by the Company, starting 11th February 2026” |
| Do the corporate and JioHome routes share that date? | Jio does not say: neither its business page nor its JioHome FAQs gives an end date |
| When were the terms last edited? | The page shows no date. The content API the page loads its text from (jio.com/jcms-api/jio-terms-conditions, record jio-google-gemini-terms-and-conditions) gave 12 February 2026 as that record’s last update when I requested it on 16 October 2026 |
So 29 October 2026 is a written date that Jio can extend or bring forward. If you miss it, read the terms page again after that day before you plan a later claim.
Offer Validity: When Do the 18 Free Months End?
They end 18 months after the day you activate. A claim on launch day, 30 October 2025, stays free until about 30 April 2027, and a claim on 29 October 2026 until about 29 April 2028.
Jio’s pages give no rule for the exact end day, and its terms allow “a period up to 18 months or for any other period as may be defined by the Company from time to time”.
| Claimed in | Free months end in (my arithmetic) |
|---|---|
| October 2025 (from the 30th) | April 2027 |
| November 2025 | May 2027 |
| December 2025 | June 2027 |
| January 2026 | July 2027 |
| February 2026 | August 2027 |
| March 2026 | September 2027 |
| April 2026 | October 2027 |
| May 2026 | November 2027 |
| June 2026 | December 2027 |
| July 2026 | January 2028 |
| August 2026 | February 2028 |
| September 2026 | March 2028 |
| October 2026 (to the 29th) | April 2028 |
Jio’s terms set these rules for the 18 months:
- A lapsed recharge adds no time. Jio “reserves the right to suspend access to the Subscription”, which resumes after a recharge, “however, the duration of the Subscription Period shall remain unchanged.”
- You cannot pause it. You “will not be able to pause” the subscription once it starts, and you can cancel it in MyJio’s “MySubscription section”, an option the terms date from 31 December 2025.
- Leaving Jio ends it. Jio “will cancel or revoke the Subscription if the Eligible Subscriber ports out of Jio or ceases to hold an active Valid Mobile Number”.
Note your activation date when you claim, since every date in the table follows from it. If you claimed earlier without noting it, none of the Jio or Google pages cited here says where your end date is shown, and the terms name the MySubscription section only as the place to cancel.
Jio Gemini Pro Offer After 18 Months: What You Pay Next
After 18 months the free plan ends and nothing renews on its own. The terms say “The Subscription will not auto-renew after the Subscription Period ends”, and Jio’s FAQ on the end of the offer says: “After the offer duration ends, your complimentary subscription benefit will end. You may continue using Google AI Pro subscription by purchasing a paid plan at prevailing market rates from Jio or Google.”
Jio’s business page puts it more plainly: “There is no payment or auto-renewal after 18 months.” Neither Jio’s terms nor its FAQ gives a price for a paid plan bought through Jio.
Your Storage Falls Back to 15 GB
When the plan ends, your Google account returns to the free 15 GB. Jio’s FAQ on backed-up files says nothing is deleted right away, but “If you are over the free 15GB limit after your subscription is cancelled, you can’t add new files, send or receive Gmail messages”.
Google’s storage article lists what stops while you are over quota:
- New uploads to Google Drive and backups to Google Photos.
- Email, in part: “Your ability to send and receive email in Gmail can be impacted.”
- New files in Docs, Sheets, Slides and the other editors, and nobody can edit or copy your affected files until you cut your usage.
- After 2 years or more over quota, your content “may be removed”, and Google says “We will contact you at least 3 months before content is eligible for deletion.”
Google AI Pro Price in India After the Offer
These are the plans on Google’s India plan page and Google One’s plans page, read logged out from an Indian connection on 16 October 2026. Each row is the smallest plan on those pages that holds the storage in the first column:
| Storage you use in month 19 | Plan | A month | A year | What else the page lists |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 15 GB | Free | ₹0 | ₹0 | Deep Research, Canvas and Gems in the Gemini app |
| Up to 30 GB | Google One Lite | ₹59 | ₹589 | Storage |
| Up to 100 GB | Google One Basic | ₹130 | ₹1,300 | Storage you can share “with up to 5 others” |
| Up to 400 GB | Google AI Plus | ₹399 | Not shown | ”2x higher usage access than Free-of-charge”, Gemini in Gmail and Vids |
| Up to 5 TB | Google AI Pro | ₹1,950 | ₹19,500 | ”4x higher usage access than Free-of-charge”, Gemini in Docs, YouTube Premium Lite |
| Over 5 TB | Google AI Ultra | From ₹6,500, or ₹19,500 for “20x higher usage limits vs AI Pro” | Not shown | ”Cloud storage starting at 20 TB” |
The monthly prices for Free, AI Plus, AI Pro and Ultra come from Google’s India plan page. Lite, Basic and every yearly price come from Google One’s plans page, whose annual toggle reads “Save up to 16%”. Neither page shows a tax line, and Google’s India plan page adds “Cancel at any time. No refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law.”
Arithmetic on those prices, mine rather than Google’s or Jio’s:
- At the yearly rate of ₹19,500, Jio’s 18 months would come to ₹29,250 pro rata, not the ₹35,100 Jio quotes at the monthly price. Google One’s plans page lists AI Pro only by the month or the year, though, so paying for 18 months at these prices costs at least ₹31,200: a year at ₹19,500 plus six months at ₹1,950.
- A year of AI Pro after the offer costs ₹23,400 on monthly billing (12 x ₹1,950) or ₹19,500 on yearly billing, which matches the “Save up to ₹3,900” Google One prints under the yearly price.
If you want Gemini inside Google Docs, keep AI Pro: Google’s India plan page lists Gemini in Docs on AI Pro and Ultra, while AI Plus lists Gemini in Gmail and Vids. An eligible college student without a Jio plan can get AI Plus free for 12 months through Internshala’s offer or Google’s own student plan, and the two differ in how you prove you are a student and in the last day to claim.
Google lists its India prices in rupees on these public pages, which is not the case for every AI tool sold in India: Claude Pro’s price in India depends on the checkout you use, Replit’s price in India is in dollars on replit.com, and Lovable shows rupees only in its iPhone app. If you drop to the free tier instead, my list of free AI tools for marketing covers free alternatives to a paid Gemini plan.
Jio’s Benefit List vs Google’s AI Pro Card
Jio’s offer page and Google’s AI Pro card name the same plan and list different contents. As read on 16 October 2026:
| Benefit | Jio’s offer page | Google’s AI Pro card, India |
|---|---|---|
| Gemini model | ”Gemini 3" | "Access to Gemini 4 Argon”, plus “our Pro model” and “our Flash model” |
| Gemini app usage | ”higher access”, with no multiple given | ”4x higher usage access than Free-of-charge” |
| Storage | ”5 TB of total storage for Photos, Drive and Gmail" | "5 TB of cloud storage across Gmail, Drive and Photos” |
| Research notebook | NotebookLM with “5x more Audio Overviews, notebooks” | Gemini Notebook with “5x more Audio Overviews, notebooks and more” |
| Video | ”limited access to Veo 3 Fast” in the Gemini app (Jio’s FAQ on the AI Pro benefits says “Veo 3.1 Fast”), and Flow with “limited access to Veo 3" | "1,000 Google Flow credits” with access to “Gemini Omni Flash” |
| Images | ”higher limits on Nano Banana” | In Search, “Higher access to Gemini 4 Argon, Nano Banana, agentic capabilities, and more” |
| Coding | Gemini CLI and Gemini Code Assist with “Higher daily request limits" | "Entry rate limits to agent model in Google Antigravity” |
| Whisk | ”Higher access to image-to-video creation with Veo 3” | Not on the card |
| Google apps | ”Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Vids and more" | "Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Vids and more” |
| YouTube | Not listed | ”YouTube Premium Lite plan” |
Jio’s offer page, terms and FAQs do not name Gemini 4 Argon, Antigravity or YouTube Premium Lite. An FAQ on Jio’s business page comes closest: it says “model upgrades happen automatically as Google rolls them out, so you’re not locked to a single model version for the full 18 months”, in an answer that still names Gemini 2.5 Pro as the current model. Jio’s terms define the subscription as Google’s plan, “named Google AI Pro or such other name as determined by Google”, with “certain premium Gemini benefits determined by Google from time to time”, and they send feature questions to Google’s support.
Google’s YouTube Premium Lite article makes third-party subscribers eligible only as “Paid Google AI Pro members on qualifying partner plans”, says the bundle “can’t be combined with existing Google One promotions or other trials”, and does not list which partner plans qualify. Check the models the Gemini app offers on the Google account you activated before you count on a feature from Google’s card.
How the Jio Gemini Offer Changed Since Launch
| Date | Source | What it said |
|---|---|---|
| 30 October 2025 | Google’s India blog, by Josh Woodward and Shimrit Ben-Yair | AI Pro free for 18 months to “Jio Unlimited 5G plan users”, rolling out first “to users between 18 to 25 years of age”; Gemini 2.5 Pro, Nano Banana and Veo 3.1, NotebookLM, 2 TB; “a combined value of approximately ₹35,100” |
| 10 November 2025 | Free Press Journal | Offer “opened to all prepaid and postpaid Jio customers regardless of age”; its benefit list still shows 2 TB |
| 19 November 2025 | Outlook Business | Gemini 3 added, with the plan free for 18 months “to every eligible Jio Unlimited 5G customer” |
| 31 December 2025 | Jio’s terms | Cancelling from MyJio becomes available |
| 11 February 2026 | Jio’s terms and eligibility FAQ | ₹299 routes added “for a limited time” |
| 10 March 2026 | Jio’s JioHome FAQs | New JioHome connections on a ₹2,222, ₹3,333 or ₹4,444 quarterly plan can claim, for what Jio calls “a limited period” |
| 16 October 2026 | Jio’s offer page | 18 and above, ₹349 Unlimited 5G, Gemini 3, 5 TB, no date shown |
| 16 October 2026 | Google’s India plan page | AI Pro at ₹1,950 a month with Gemini 4 Argon, 5 TB and YouTube Premium Lite |
| 29 October 2026 | Jio’s terms | The offer period that began on 30 October 2025 ends, unless Jio extends it |
The launch age band still shows up on Jio’s own pages, as read on 16 October 2026:
- The offer page’s meta description: “Enjoy 18 months of FREE access to Google Gemini Pro for customers aged 18-25”, while the page itself says “aged 18 years and above”.
- The meta description of Jio’s FAQ for non-Jio users: “Non-Jio users in the age bracket of 18 to 25 years can simply get a new Jio SIM”, while the answer on the page drops the age bracket.
- An FAQ on Jio’s business page, which says the SIM “should be in the name of person who is between 18 to 25 years”.
Google says it sometimes uses the meta description for the snippet under a search result, so a result for the offer page or that FAQ can still show 18 to 25.
None of the Google or Jio pages cited here dates the move from 2 TB to 5 TB.
Jio Gemini Offer Not Working? Jio’s Documented Conditions
If your number meets the age and plan conditions in the eligibility table and the banner or the plan still fails, these are the remaining conditions Jio’s pages set:
| Check | What Jio’s pages say |
|---|---|
| You are logged in to MyJio with the Jio SIM | ”please ensure you are logged in using your Jio SIM”, per Jio’s banner FAQ |
| The SIM is registered to someone above 18 | It “should be in the name of person who is above 18 with an active eligible plan” |
| You use the Gmail ID you activated with | The offer is eligible “only on the Google Account (Gmail ID) that was used to activate the Offer” and “cannot be migrated or transferred”, per Jio’s Gmail ID FAQ |
| You already pay Google for Google One | You “will be prompted to switch to the Google AI Pro plan from Jio”; a plan bought “via a third-party” has to be cancelled first, with no refunds or credits for the time left, per Jio’s Google One FAQ |
| You are on Google’s AI Pro student trial | You are prompted to switch, and “the existing student trial offer will be automatically cancelled”, per Jio’s student trial FAQ |
| Your recharge lapsed, you ported out or the number went inactive | A lapse can suspend access until you recharge, and the other two cancel the plan, under the terms quoted in the validity section above |
| You deleted the Gmail account | Google can cancel the subscription, per the terms |
Where Jio sends you next:
- Banner still missing: the JioCare option in MyJio, a WhatsApp “Hi” to 7000770007, or a call to 199 from a Jio number (18008899999 from any other number), per the banner FAQ.
- A problem with Google AI Pro itself: “contact Google Support at https://one.google.com/support”, per Jio’s support FAQ.
- A recharge problem: care@jio.com, per the terms.
Claim Before 29 October, Then Plan Month 19
If you qualify for the Jio Gemini Pro offer, claim before 29 October 2026 and write down your activation date. A month before your 18 months end, check how much storage you use and pick the row in the price table that holds it, so your account stays under quota in month 19.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the last date for the Jio Gemini Pro offer?
Jio's terms run the offer period from 30 October 2025 to 29 October 2026, 'or such other date as may be decided by the Company at its sole discretion'. The offer page itself showed no date when I read it on 16 October 2026, so recheck the terms after 29 October.
What happens after 18 months of the Jio Gemini Pro offer?
The free subscription ends and does not auto-renew, per Jio's terms. Jio's FAQ says you can keep Google AI Pro by buying a paid plan 'at prevailing market rates from Jio or Google', and Google's India pages listed AI Pro at ₹1,950 a month or ₹19,500 a year on 16 October 2026.
Is the Jio Gemini offer 2 TB or 5 TB?
5 TB. Jio's offer page lists '5 TB of total storage for Photos, Drive and Gmail' and Google's AI Pro card lists 5 TB, as read on 16 October 2026. Google's launch post of 30 October 2025 said 2 TB.
Which Gemini model do Jio users get?
Jio's offer page lists Gemini 3, while Google's AI Pro card listed Gemini 4 Argon on 16 October 2026. Jio's offer page, terms and FAQs do not name Gemini 4 Argon, though an FAQ on Jio's business page says model upgrades 'happen automatically as Google rolls them out', so check which models the Gemini app offers on the Google account you activated.
Can I claim the Jio offer if I already pay for Google One?
Yes, per Jio's FAQ. A Google One plan bought from Google prompts you to switch to the plan from Jio during activation, and a plan bought through a third party has to be cancelled first. Jio says you get no refund or credit for the time left on the old plan.
