ElevenLabs Price in India: INR, UPI and Cost per Minute

15 min read

ElevenLabs price in India, checked 4 November 2026: $6 to $990 a month, INR and UPI at checkout, Rs 2,299 for Creator on the App Store, and the cost per minute.

Renaissance-style landscape of a mountain path climbing toward a monastery in morning light, a red cloak on the trail

Creator, the ElevenLabs plan its pricing page tags “Popular”, works out to about 18 cents a minute of voiceover: $22 a month divided by the ~121 minutes of text to speech that elevenlabs.io/pricing still listed as of November 2026 is $0.182, in line with the ~$0.18 the page prints as Creator’s price for an extra minute. A rupee amount for that plan appears at checkout: ElevenLabs’ help article on paying in INR says that if you are located in India, “the INR option will automatically appear during checkout”.

So the ElevenLabs price in India is a dollar list price that becomes rupees at the payment step, and the only rupee plan prices I could find published under ElevenLabs’ name sit in Apple’s App Store. I compare its plans per minute of audio, and I treat any rupee plan price printed outside a checkout or an app store as somebody’s exchange-rate guess.

Prices, credits and minutes as read logged out on ElevenLabs’ pricing page on 25 October 2026 and again on 4 November 2026. The 25 October read labelled the $1 Starter month “Until Nov 1”; the 4 November read still showed “$1 first month” and “Then $6 per month” on the Starter card, with no end date printed. The page says “Prices exclude all taxes, levies and duties.” ElevenLabs’ help center says a first-month discount is given once: “if you’ve already received the discount in the past, you won’t receive it again” (first-month discount article). The Agents and API tabs on the same page carry separate pricing, which this post does not cover. Prices and credits change, so read the page again on the day you pay.

Can You Pay for ElevenLabs in Rupees or UPI?

Yes: ElevenLabs’ help center says customers in India can pay in Indian rupees and can pay by UPI, with the same plans as everyone else. The INR article, quoted line by line:

  • “Yes, customers located in India can now pay for their ElevenLabs subscription in Indian Rupees (INR).”
  • “Customers in all other countries will continue to be charged in USD.”
  • “We also support UPI as a payment method for customers located in India.”
  • The plans do not change: “only the billing currency and available payment methods change based on your location”.

ElevenLabs’ accepted payments article lists four methods: credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and “UPI (India only)”. It also says a prepaid card “is not something we directly support”. The FAQ on the pricing page gives a shorter list, “We accept Credit Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay”, with no UPI, so the two ElevenLabs pages disagree and the checkout screen is the one to believe.

Some India guides still say the opposite. Zoutons’ May 2026 guide to ElevenLabs pricing in India says “UPI is not currently supported” and converts the dollar prices at ₹84 to the dollar. ElevenLabs’ own help center said otherwise on 25 October 2026 and still did as of November 2026.

The only rupee figures I found on an ElevenLabs page are Pay As You Go amounts (top-up limits and Auto Top Up defaults) for the prepaid balance that runs after your plan’s credits are used. ElevenLabs’ Pay As You Go documentation lists USD and INR as the supported currencies:

Pay As You Go amountUSDINRRupees per dollar, my arithmetic
Minimum top-up$5₹500100
Default Auto Top Up amount$20₹2,000100
Monthly cap without 2FA, Free, Starter and Creator$100₹8,80088
Monthly cap without 2FA, Pro$200₹17,60088
Monthly cap without 2FA, Scale$600₹52,80088
Monthly cap without 2FA, Business$2,000₹176,00088

The minimum and the default imply 100 rupees a dollar and the caps imply 88, so neither tells you what a plan will cost at the INR checkout.

What the ElevenLabs Pricing Page Showed From India

I fetched the public pricing page on 25 October 2026 without logging in, from a connection that Cloudflare’s trace placed in India (loc=IN).

What I checkedWhat came back
Plan prices in the served pageDollars only: $0, $6, $22, $99, $299 and $990, plus “Custom pricing” for Enterprise
Rupee sign or INR price in the served pageNone
Interface text bundled in the pageA currency selector with two labels, “US Dollar” and “Indian Rupee”
Tax line”Prices exclude all taxes, levies and duties.”
Payment FAQ”We accept Credit Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.”

The selector’s labels show that the page knows about rupees, but the HTML it served carried no rupee price, and I did not open it in a browser to see whether a script fills one in. I did not sign in or reach a checkout either, so this post prints no official rupee price for a web plan. That differs from Canva, which prints rupee prices on its India pricing page, as Canva Pro’s published India prices show.

Four places an Indian buyer can look for an ElevenLabs price, as read on 25 October 2026: the web pricing page shows dollars only, $6 to $990 a month, excluding taxes, with no rupee figure in the page served to India; the web checkout shows INR automatically in India and accepts UPI, per the help center, and was not visited; Apple's India App Store lists Creator Monthly at Rs 2,299, Creator Annual at Rs 22,900 and Go Monthly at Rs 1,100 and Go Annual at Rs 11,000, plus credit packs of 30k at Rs 599 and 60k at Rs 999, with no Pay As You Go on an app subscription; Google Play India shows Rs 690 to Rs 22,800 per item and a page footer reading 'All prices include GST'

My Rupee Conversion of the Dollar Prices

The Reserve Bank of India’s home page gave ₹94.8416 to the US dollar “As at 1.00pm of November 04, 2026”, with FBIL as the source (the 25 October version of this table used ₹94.9432, the rate for 23 October 2026). The rupee columns below are my arithmetic at that rate, not ElevenLabs’ checkout prices.

PlanMonthly (USD)Monthly, convertedYearly (USD, 10 x monthly)Yearly, converted
Starter$6₹569$60₹5,690
Creator$22₹2,087$220₹20,865
Pro$99₹9,389$990₹93,893
Scale$299₹28,358$2,990₹283,576
Business$990₹93,893$9,900₹938,932

These are before tax, and the INR checkout may use a rate of its own, which ElevenLabs does not publish.

ElevenLabs Price in India on the App Store and Google Play

Apple’s India App Store prints ElevenLabs plan prices in rupees, and Google Play India prints a rupee range without plan names. Both read on 25 October 2026 and unchanged on 4 November 2026:

Store listingWhat it shows
ElevenLabs: AI Voice Generator, App Store IndiaIn-App Purchases: Creator Monthly ₹2,299, Creator Annual ₹22,900, 30k credits ₹599, 60k credits ₹999, Go Monthly ₹1,100, Go Annual ₹11,000
ElevenLabs: AI Voice Generator, Google Play India”₹690.00 - ₹22,800.00 per item”, with no item names; the page footer says “All prices include GST”

What those figures mean next to the web prices:

  • Apple’s prices outside the US and Canada include tax, a rule quoted from Apple’s developer talk in my Claude Pro price guide for India, while the web’s $22 excludes it.
  • Assuming the App Store’s Creator is the same 121,000-credit plan (the listing does not say), Creator Monthly at ₹2,299 is ₹212 (10.2%) above my pre-tax conversion of $22 (₹2,086.52). If the INR checkout prices Creator near that conversion, the route turns on the tax line the web checkout adds; I worked through that App Store vs web comparison, with the GST rate from the government chart, in my Replit price check for India.
  • Creator Annual at ₹22,900 is ₹90 less than ten months at ₹2,299 (₹22,990), close to the web’s rule of 10 months’ price for a year.
  • The listing names a Go plan at ₹1,100 a month. The web pricing page lists no plan called Go, and the listing does not say what Go includes, so read its credits on the in-app screen before buying.

An app subscription has its own rules. ElevenLabs’ article on mobile vs website subscriptions says a plan bought in the app “is handled entirely by the app store”, that it rules out Pay As You Go, and that moving to a website plan means cancelling in the store and waiting for the period to end. Its credits article for the apps says “You can use your subscription across our website, iOS and Android apps.” Some creator apps have no India listing at all: CapCut’s India App Store and Google Play pages returned not found on 4 November 2026, as the post on why CapCut Pro has no India price records.

ElevenLabs Price in India per Minute, by Plan

Dividing each plan’s price by the minutes the pricing page lists gives its cost per included minute of text to speech. The page’s own extra-minute column agrees with the division to the cent.

PlanPriceApprox minutesPer minute, monthlyPer minute, annualPage’s extra-minute pricePer minute in rupees, my conversion
Free$0~10n/an/a~$0.36n/a
Starter$6~30$0.200$0.167~$0.20₹18.97
Creator$22~121$0.182$0.152~$0.18₹17.24
Pro$99~600$0.165$0.138~$0.17₹15.65
Scale$299~1,800$0.166$0.138~$0.17₹15.75
Business$990~6,000$0.165$0.138~$0.17₹15.65

The page lists ~$0.36 under “Extra minute” for Free, about double Starter’s ~$0.20; the Pay As You Go page says top-ups are available on the free tier too.

Worked line for Creator: $22 / 121 minutes = $0.182 a minute; on annual billing, $220 / 12 months / 121 minutes = $0.152; at ₹94.8416, $22 / 121 = $0.1818 is ₹17.24.

Bar chart of the cost per included text-to-speech minute on each ElevenLabs plan, in US cents, from the pricing page read on 25 October 2026: Starter 20.0 monthly and 16.7 annual, Creator 18.2 monthly and 15.2 annual, Pro 16.5 and 13.8, Scale 16.6 and 13.8, Business 16.5 and 13.8. A worked line shows Creator's $22 divided by about 121 minutes is $0.182

What the table says about choosing a plan:

  • The per-minute cost falls from Starter to Pro and then stops falling: Scale and Business cost about the same 16.5 cents a minute as Pro and add seats and voice clones instead.
  • Annual billing cuts every per-minute figure by a sixth, because 10 months’ price buys 12 months of credits.
  • The minutes are ElevenLabs’ approximations. Its credit FAQ says each character consumes credits “with the exact cost depending on the model used”.
  • Retakes cost credits too. The FAQ says “Credits are charged per generation request, not per download”, and that “a limited number of free regenerations may be available” if the text and certain settings stay the same.

Minutes by Product on Each Plan

All products draw on one monthly credit pool, at the per-product rates in the pricing page’s FAQ (rates as of November 2026). Minutes below are my division of each plan’s credits by those rates, rounded down.

Is ElevenLabs Free?

Yes: the Free plan costs $0 and gives 10,000 credits a month, about 10 minutes of text to speech. Its limits, from the pricing page and ElevenLabs’ billing documentation:

  • 3 Projects in Studio, against 20 on Starter.
  • 3 custom voice slots for Voice Design. The billing page says “Cloning is only available on the Starter tier and above.”
  • Licence: “If you are on the free plan, you can use the content non-commercially with attribution.” Starter adds a commercial licence.
  • No rollover: the credit rollover article says “credit rollover does not apply to accounts on the free tier”.
  • Top-ups: Pay As You Go is open to the Free plan, but the PAYG page says plan limits such as voice slots “come from your subscription plan, not your PAYG balance”.

A free account suits a test of voices and pacing. A voiceover for a client, an ad or a monetised channel needs Starter or above for the commercial licence. Suno draws a similar line for music: songs made on its free plan are for non-commercial use only, as the Suno free plan breakdown sets out.

Annual Billing, Rollover and Downgrade Rules

ElevenLabs states these rules on its pricing page and in its help center:

RuleIn ElevenLabs’ wordsSource
Annual renewal”Annual plans are billed on an annual cycle and will renew automatically unless cancelled.”Annual or quarterly plans
Quarterly plans”At the moment, we do not offer quarterly plans.”Same article
Annual to monthly”you can’t upgrade from an annual subscription to a monthly subscription”Upgrading an annual plan
RolloverUnused credits carry over, “up to twice your usual subscription credit quota”, on top of the new month’s credits, so a Starter balance tops out at “30,000 x 3 = 90,000”Credit rollover
Upgrade”Any unused credits from your previous plan will be added to your new credit quota.”Upgrade or downgrade
Downgrade or cancelTakes effect at the end of the cycle, and “you will lose any unused credits on your account when this happens”Same article
Top-up creditsPay As You Go credits “will expire 12 months after purchase” and sit outside the rollover capCredit rollover

Start on monthly billing if you might want a smaller plan within the year: the rollover article says a downgrade or cancellation of an annual plan “does not take effect until the end of your current annual billing cycle”.

Compare the ElevenLabs Price in India per Minute, Then at Checkout

The figure you can verify before paying is the dollar list on elevenlabs.io/pricing, plus Apple’s and Google’s rupee listings for the app. Compare plans on the per-minute table, convert at a dated official rate if you need a rupee estimate, and let the INR checkout give you the real rupee total with its tax line. The Starter offer was labelled to end on 1 November 2026, yet the page still showed the $1 first month as of November 2026 with no end date, so read the Starter card again on the day you pay.

Before you subscribe, divide the plan’s price by the minutes you will actually finish in a month, retakes included.

Can I pay for ElevenLabs with UPI?

Yes. ElevenLabs' help center lists UPI as a payment method for customers located in India and says the INR option appears automatically at checkout. The FAQ on the pricing page itself lists only credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, so confirm the methods on the checkout screen.

Is ElevenLabs free?

Yes. The Free plan costs $0 and gives 10,000 credits a month, about 10 minutes of text to speech, with 3 Studio projects. ElevenLabs' billing docs say free-plan audio may be used non-commercially with attribution, and unused free credits do not roll over.

How many minutes do ElevenLabs credits give?

The pricing page's own figures work out to about 1,000 credits per minute of text to speech: 30,000 credits give about 30 minutes on Starter and 121,000 give about 121 minutes on Creator. Other products use more, such as 2,000 credits a minute for automatic dubbing with a watermark.

Is ElevenLabs cheaper on annual billing?

Yes. ElevenLabs charges 10 months' price for a year, so Creator costs $220 a year, or $18.33 a month, against $264 for twelve monthly payments. Apple's India App Store follows a similar pattern: Creator Annual is ₹22,900, ₹90 less than ten months at ₹2,299.
