Meta Verified Price in India: Rs 639 and What Changed
Meta Verified price in India on 4 November 2026: the India App Store lists Meta Verified Standard at Rs 639, and Meta's 2024 business rates went up to Rs 30,000.
₹639 is the price beside every item named Meta Verified Standard on Apple’s India App Store listings for Instagram and Facebook on 4 November 2026, and the WhatsApp Business listing adds a second figure, ₹1,399, for items named Meta Verified for business. Articles from 2023 that give ₹699 a month as the Meta Verified price in India still circulate, such as Business Today’s launch-day story, and ₹699 was the price Meta announced for creators in June 2023.
Between those two dates, Meta announced business plans that ran up to ₹30,000 a month and, in September 2026, a new subscription called Meta One that it priced in US dollars. None of Meta’s own pages that I could read shows a current rupee price list, so I treat the store listing as the only rupee price Meta puts in public today and every other rupee figure as a dated announcement.
| Plan or listing | Rupee price | Source | Date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Verified Standard, Instagram app | ₹639 per item | Apple App Store, India: Instagram | 4 November 2026 |
| Meta Verified Standard, Facebook app | ₹639 per item | Apple App Store, India: Facebook | 4 November 2026 |
| Meta Verified for business, WhatsApp Business app | ₹639 or ₹1,399 per item | Apple App Store, India: WhatsApp Business | 4 November 2026 |
| Business plans at the standard rate, one app to two apps | ₹639 to ₹30,000 a month | Meta India newsroom | 19 July 2024 |
No store item names a billing period, and no Meta page I read ties a rupee price to a named plan, so read each figure as the price of one listed item. Prices and plans change; every figure here is as of November 2026 or the source’s own date.
Meta Verified Price in India by Source and Date
Each rupee figure in circulation, where it came from, and whether a Meta page or an India store listing still shows it on 4 November 2026:
| Rupee figure | What it covered | Source and date | Still current? |
|---|---|---|---|
| ₹699 a month on iOS and Android | Creators on Instagram or Facebook | Meta India newsroom, 7 June 2023 | Not confirmed: no ₹699 item appears in the India store rows, and no Meta page I could read repeats it |
| ₹599 a month on the web | A web purchase option Meta said it would add “in the coming months” | Same post | Not confirmed: same reason |
| ₹1,450 a month on mobile, ₹1,099 on the web | A pre-launch report, worded “Reportedly” | Inc42, 30 March 2023 | No: Meta’s June 2023 announcement gave ₹699 and ₹599 instead |
| ₹639 to ₹21,000 a month | Business plans under a 12-month introductory offer, one app to two apps | Meta India newsroom, 19 July 2024 | For 12 months, by Meta’s wording; the post does not say whether new subscribers can still get it |
| ₹639 to ₹30,000 a month | Standard business rates after the 12 months | Same post | No later rupee range on any Meta page I could read |
| None (from US$14.99 a month) | Meta One plans for creators and businesses, which include a verified badge | Meta newsroom, 15 September 2026 | US dollars only; the post has no rupee figure |
| ₹639, and ₹1,399 on WhatsApp Business | Items named Meta Verified Standard and Meta Verified for business | Apple App Store, India, 4 November 2026 | Yes, on 4 November 2026 |
The ₹639 on the store listings is the same number as the lowest price in Meta’s 2024 business post. Neither page says they are the same plan, and the Instagram item is named Meta Verified Standard without saying whether it is the creator or the business version.
Meta Verified Price in India on the App Store and Google Play
Apple’s India listings name each in-app item and price it in rupees; Google Play’s India listings give one range per app and name nothing. What each listing showed on 4 November 2026:
| Listing | Rows under In-App Purchases | Prices shown |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram, App Store India | 10 rows, all named Meta Verified Standard | ₹639 on every row |
| Facebook, App Store India | 6 Stars packs and 4 rows named Meta Verified Standard | ₹639 on each Meta Verified row; Stars packs from ₹29 (29 Stars) to ₹999 (530 Stars) |
| WhatsApp Business, App Store India | 10 rows, all named Meta Verified for business | ₹639 on 4 rows, ₹1,399 on 6 rows |
| Instagram, Google Play India | One range, no item named | ₹5.00 to ₹4,28,399.00 per item |
| Facebook, Google Play India | One range, no item named | ₹5.00 to ₹8,40,000.00 per item |
| WhatsApp Business, Google Play India | One range, no item named | ₹10.00 to ₹4,28,399.00 per item |
What the listings leave out:
- None of the Apple rows names a billing period, a trial or a tier above Standard, so Plus, Premium and Max have no rupee price on any listing I read.
- Each Apple listing stopped at exactly ten rows, so I read them as the rows Apple displays rather than everything Meta sells in the app. Apple’s India listing for LinkedIn also stopped at ten rows, all priced in rupees, in my check of LinkedIn Premium’s rupee prices by source.
- Google Play prints “All prices include GST.” on all three listings. Apple’s three listings carry no tax wording.
- The Play ranges cover every in-app purchase in each app, so they say nothing about Meta Verified on its own.
Some vendors print rupee prices on their own pricing page, as Canva does in my breakdown of Canva Pro’s rupee plans. Meta’s Meta Verified and Meta One pages build their content with JavaScript, and the HTML they served to a plain request held no price in any currency.
Meta Verified for Business Price: Introductory Offer vs Standard Rate
Meta’s 19 July 2024 India announcement prints a rupee range for business plans, and I found no later Meta page that does. What it says:
- Four plans: Meta Verified Business Standard, Business Plus, Business Premium and Business Max.
- Every plan carries the verified badge, account support and impersonation protection. Support “starts with access to chat or email with agents and builds to requesting a call back from the agent to dedicated case monitoring”, and higher plans add more links in Reels.
- In India the plans were “available for purchase only via iOS or Android at this time”, for Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp, or as a bundle for Facebook and Instagram together.
- Prices: “start at as little as INR 639 for a single app per month and go up to INR 21,000 with a 12-month introductory offer for two apps per month.” After 12 months, standard rates start at INR 639 for a single app and go “up to INR 30,000 for two apps per month.”
- Sign-up runs from the professional dashboard in the app or Meta’s marketing landing page. That landing page redirected a logged-out request to Facebook’s login page on 4 November 2026.
The arithmetic on Meta’s own figures:
| One app, entry price | Two apps, top price | |
|---|---|---|
| Introductory offer, first 12 months | ₹639 a month | ₹21,000 a month |
| Standard rate, after 12 months | ₹639 a month | ₹30,000 a month |
| Change | None | ₹9,000 a month more, about 43% |
The post leaves several things unsaid: which of the four plans costs ₹21,000 or ₹30,000, the price of Plus or Premium, whether GST is included (the word does not appear on the page), and whether a business signing up in November 2026 still gets the introductory rate. A headline that gives ₹21,000 as the top price is quoting the first-year price.
Meta Verified Price for Creators in India
Meta’s 7 June 2023 India post, linked in the source table above, is the source of the ₹699 figure, and it is a creator launch:
- “People can purchase a monthly subscription for ₹699 on iOS and Android”, with “a web purchase option for ₹599 a month” promised “in the coming months” and a waitlist in the Facebook web Account Center.
- The bundle: a verified badge after a government ID check, proactive monitoring for impersonation, and account support in English, with Hindi promised later.
- Eligibility: applicants at least 18 years old, accounts meeting “minimum activity requirements, such as prior posting history”, and a government ID matching the profile name and photo. A footnote adds: “Businesses are not eligible to apply for Meta Verified at this time.”
- Accounts verified before Meta Verified launched keep their badge.
The current creator price is harder to pin down. Meta’s help articles “Subscribe to Meta Verified for creators” on Facebook Help and Instagram Help build their text with JavaScript and returned no readable price, and the India store rows say “Standard” without saying creator or business. I found no current rupee price for the creator plan on a Meta page, so the price your Instagram or Facebook app shows at checkout is the one to trust.
WhatsApp Meta Verified Price in India
Meta began rolling out Meta Verified on the WhatsApp Business app “in Brazil, India, Indonesia and Colombia”, according to its 6 June 2024 announcement. It says the badge “means a business has registered their information with Meta”, and that subscribers get enhanced account support, including impersonation protection, and can use WhatsApp on multiple devices for their employees.
The rupee figures come from the store, not from WhatsApp:
- Apple’s India listing for WhatsApp Business shows ten rows named Meta Verified for business, four at ₹639 and six at ₹1,399, with no plan name or period.
- WhatsApp’s help article About Meta Verified for Business on WhatsApp builds its text with JavaScript, and no price could be read from it.
- Meta’s July 2024 India post lists WhatsApp as one of the apps a business can buy Meta Verified for, without a separate WhatsApp price.
Meta One and the Verified Badge After September 2026
On 15 September 2026, Meta introduced Meta One, a subscription with plans for individuals, creators and businesses, and said the plans “are now available globally”. Its creator and business bundles, at the US dollar prices Meta published (these are not India prices, and I have not converted them):
| Meta One plan | US dollar price in Meta’s post | What the post says it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Starting at $14.99 a month | A verified badge, a verified channel on the WhatsApp Business app and impersonation protection, “pending successful verification”, plus more Meta Business Agent access on WhatsApp |
| Advanced | Starting at $49.99 a month | Stories scheduled up to 30 days ahead, links in organic posts and reels, exportable analytics, team access without sharing a password |
| Expert | Starting at $149 a month | The highest levels of feature access and Meta Business Agent capacity, shared with Max |
| Max | Starting at $499 a month | Same description as Expert |
What the announcement does not settle:
- Its text never uses the name Meta Verified, and it says nothing about what happens to existing Meta Verified subscriptions.
- It gives no rupee price, and adds: “Plans, benefits, pricing, and availability may vary by region, by app, and by account.”
- On 4 November 2026 the India App Store rows still carried Meta Verified names, with no item named Meta One among the rows shown.
TelecomTalk published rupee prices for every Meta One plan on 16 September 2026 without naming where they came from. I could not match that list to a Meta page, so I do not repeat it here.
Meta also launched Facebook Verified on 24 July 2026, “a free badge” for people on Facebook that uses a video selfie, “with no subscription fee”. It is for users 18 and older, “not available for Pages or ProMode accounts”, and is rolling out “in phases, starting in select markets” that the post does not name. If you only want a badge on a personal Facebook profile, check for this before paying for anything. LinkedIn runs a similar free identity check for members in India, covered in my DigiLocker verification steps.
Which Meta Verified Price Applies to You
| You are | Where Meta sells it | Rupee price you can see before paying | Check at checkout |
|---|---|---|---|
| A creator on Instagram or Facebook | In the app, on iOS or Android (Meta, June 2023) | ₹639 per Meta Verified Standard item on the India App Store; no creator price on a Meta page I could read | The plan name, the billing period and whether it is the creator or business version |
| A small business on one app | Professional dashboard in the app (Meta, July 2024) | ₹639 a month for a single app, the same at the introductory and standard rate | Which of the four plans that ₹639 buys |
| A business on Instagram and Facebook together | The bundled purchase (Meta, July 2024) | Up to ₹21,000 a month in the first 12 months, up to ₹30,000 a month at the standard rate, for two apps | Whether the price shown is the 12-month introductory rate and what it becomes after |
| A business on WhatsApp | The WhatsApp Business app | ₹639 or ₹1,399 per item on the India App Store | The plan name and period, since the listing shows neither |
| A person who only wants a badge on Facebook | Facebook Verified, free (Meta, July 2026) | None, where it has rolled out | Whether your account is offered it; Pages and ProMode accounts are not |
Is Meta Verified Worth It for a Small Business in India?
It is worth paying for when you need what every plan includes, because Meta’s July 2024 post lists the same base in all four: the verified badge, account support and impersonation protection. The same post says the badge “continues to be one of the top reported reasons for subscribing to Meta Verified.”
Decision rules from Meta’s own feature lists:
- Accounts being copied by impersonators, or stuck on account issues with no one to contact, are the cases the base plan covers.
- If the only goal is a badge on a personal Facebook profile, Facebook Verified is free where Meta has rolled it out.
- For a two-app bundle at the top of the range, budget for the standard rate, since Meta’s post says the introductory price ends after 12 months.
- A monthly subscription nobody reviews is the cost I argue against in my case for a five-tool marketing stack. Put a review date on Meta Verified the day you subscribe.
- Paid reach is a separate bill: Meta Verified’s feature lists cover the badge, support and protection, while ad spend has no Meta rupee price list, as Instagram ad cost in India sets out.
Before You Pay for Meta Verified in India
The Meta Verified price in India that you can confirm today is a store line: ₹639 for Meta Verified Standard on Instagram and Facebook, and ₹639 or ₹1,399 for Meta Verified for business on WhatsApp Business, as of 4 November 2026. Meta’s ₹699, ₹21,000 and ₹30,000 figures are real but dated, and Meta One has no rupee price on a Meta page I could read. Open the subscription screen in your app and note the plan name and billing period it shows. Then compare that screen with the ₹639 listing.
