LinkedIn Premium Cost in India: Rupee Prices by Source
LinkedIn Premium cost in India on 16 October 2026: LinkedIn shows no rupee price logged out, and Apple shows ten Premium Career items from Rs 999 to Rs 1,899.
Ten in-app purchases appeared on Apple’s India App Store listing for LinkedIn on 16 October 2026, every one named Premium Career, priced from ₹999 to ₹1,899, and none labelled with a billing period. To a visitor in India who was not signed in, LinkedIn’s own plan pages showed no rupee price at all: the two “Plans and Pricing” compare pages show features and no price, the product pages quote US dollars, and their pricing buttons lead to a sign-in page. Every rupee figure I found for the LinkedIn Premium cost in India without signing in came from an app store or from someone’s report.
As of 16 October 2026, LinkedIn shows a logged-out visitor in India no rupee price, and its own pages quote US dollars from US$39.99 a month for Premium Career. Apple’s India listing shows ten Premium Career items priced from ₹999 to ₹1,899, and a February 2026 member post reported ₹1,015.93 a month on desktop.
Where a rupee price is visible from India, as read on 16 October 2026 (any of these can change):
| Source | What it shows | Rupee price | Tax wording on the page |
|---|---|---|---|
| LinkedIn’s Career and Small Business compare pages | Features of free LinkedIn and four Premium plans | None, and no price in any currency | None |
| LinkedIn’s Premium product pages | ”Starts at” prices in USD, AUD, CAD, EUR and GBP, inside an FAQ | None: INR is not among the five | ”may exclude … Goods & Services Tax (GST)“ |
| linkedin.com/premium/products, where the pricing and trial buttons point | A redirect to LinkedIn’s sign-in page | Not shown before sign-in | Not visible |
| Apple App Store, India | Ten items shown, each named Premium Career | ₹999 to ₹1,899 per item, no billing period | None on the listing |
| Google Play, India | One range for all in-app purchases | ₹299.00 to ₹70,799.88 per item, no plan named | ”All prices include GST.”, printed by Google Play |
| Sales Navigator compare page | Core from US$119.99 a month, Advanced from US$159.99 | None: INR is not among its five currencies | ”may exclude … Goods & Services Tax (GST)” |
I treat each rupee figure for LinkedIn Premium as a store listing or a report, since none of them appears on LinkedIn’s own price pages, and I compare them only as totals after GST. The app stores fold GST into the price they show. LinkedIn’s GST FAQ applies 18% GST to all LinkedIn products, but its separate GST line on invoices covers purchases from LinkedIn India, which began selling to eligible businesses on 1 April 2026, and the FAQ says that part does not apply to LinkedIn Singapore. That rule cannot settle whether the February 2026 member post’s ₹1,015.93 desktop price included GST: read it as a pre-GST figure and the post’s 82% app-versus-web gap becomes 54%; read it as the whole charge and the gap stays 82%.
LinkedIn Premium Price in India on the App Store and Google Play
The closest thing to a public LinkedIn Premium Career cost in India is Apple’s India listing, which prices each of the ten Premium Career items it displays in rupees. Google Play’s India listing gives one range for all of LinkedIn’s in-app purchases, names no item at either end of it, and prints “All prices include GST.” as Google Play’s own line, not LinkedIn text. Apple’s In-App Purchases list on 16 October 2026, at app version 9.1.581, all ten named Premium Career:
| Price on Apple’s India listing | Items at that price |
|---|---|
| ₹999 | 1 |
| ₹1,379 | 1 |
| ₹1,399 | 2 |
| ₹1,850 | 4 |
| ₹1,899 | 2 |
I read the ten as the items Apple’s page displays rather than every item LinkedIn sells in the app, since Apple’s listings for Tinder in the US and Candy Crush Saga in India also stopped at exactly ten rows that day. What the store listings tell you, and what they leave out:
- No Apple item names a billing period, a trial or a plan other than Career. The listing’s description mentions Premium once, “Upgrade to a Premium subscription for exclusive tools.”, with no price or tax wording.
- ₹1,850 is the price on four of the ten items, and it is the Google Play figure a February 2026 member post gave for a month of Premium Career (see the claims table below).
The same split, rupees on the app stores and dollars from the vendor, shows in my check of Claude Pro’s price in India by checkout.
LinkedIn’s Premium subscription FAQ ties an App Store subscription to an Apple device: Premium bought through the Apple Store “can be cancelled using the LinkedIn mobile app on an Apple device”, while Premium bought through Google Play can be cancelled on LinkedIn’s desktop site, in the LinkedIn app, or on Google Play’s desktop site or mobile app.
Why LinkedIn Premium Shows No Rupee Price Until You Sign In
LinkedIn’s product pages call their listed prices “estimates” and point you to a trial button for actual prices and other currencies, and from India, logged out, every such button led to LinkedIn’s sign-in page. Its compare pages are titled “Career Plans and Pricing” and “Small Business Plans and Pricing”, and the careers page invites you to compare “features and price”, yet neither showed a price in any currency, in the served HTML or rendered in a browser. What I requested logged out on 16 October 2026, after Cloudflare’s trace returned loc=IN:
| Requested | What came back |
|---|---|
| The Career compare page | HTTP 200: free LinkedIn and Premium Career side by side, with no rupee sign, INR, dollar figure or GST |
| The Small Business compare page | HTTP 200: Premium Business, All-in-One and Company Page features, with no price in any currency |
| ”View Career pricing”, which points to linkedin.com/premium/products/ | HTTP 302 to LinkedIn’s sign-in page |
| The “How much does … cost?” FAQ on each of the four Premium product pages | US dollar prices plus four other currencies, and no rupees |
The product pages are where LinkedIn publishes a price for these plans, as “starts at” prices per license, each page stamped “Last updated: April 20, 2026 (pricing and plan details)“:
| Plan | Per month | Per year | Annual saving LinkedIn states |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium Career | US$39.99 | US$239.88 | 50% |
| Premium Career Duo, two members | US$59.98 | US$359.88 | Not stated |
| Premium Business | US$69.99 | US$539.88 | 36% |
| Premium Business Duo, two members | US$118.98 | US$917.98 | Not stated |
| Premium All-in-One | US$89.99 | US$899.88 | 17% |
| Premium Company Page Essentials | US$99.99 | US$839.88 | 30% |
I read each Duo row as the price for both members: LinkedIn files Duo under the same “pricing per license” heading, but its Duo FAQs describe two licenses “under one shared subscription” at “a lower combined price”, and US$59.98 is less than two single Career licenses at US$39.99 each. For the LinkedIn Premium Business price in India, LinkedIn’s pages give no rupee price, only list prices in US dollars and four other currencies, from US$69.99 a month; the rupee figures for Business in the claims table below are reports. The per-year column is the annual billing cycle, and LinkedIn’s Premium FAQ also lists a quarterly cycle, adding “you might not have access to it at this time.”
Each product-page FAQ repeats the prices in AUD, CAD, EUR and GBP and carries the same note: “Prices listed above are estimates and may exclude Value-Added Tax (VAT), Goods & Services Tax (GST), and/or promotional discounts. Pricing is subject to change. Slight variations may occur across device types.” On the Career, Business and All-in-One pages, the “Try … for free” button the FAQ names redirected to sign-in; the Company Page product page had no “Try Premium Page for free” button in its served HTML, and its main button, “Create a Company Page for free”, also redirected to sign-in. If you would rather not pay at all, my rundown of the free routes to LinkedIn Premium sets the trial behind those “Try … for free” buttons against the Adobe and Headway offers and says which to claim first.
LinkedIn does charge in rupees. Its Supported currencies page lists Indian Rupee (INR) among the currencies “LinkedIn currently accepts”.
LinkedIn Premium Price Claims to Check
The rupee figures I found for LinkedIn Premium come from a training academy’s guide, an App Store review, a member’s post, a sales-software company’s blog and a Reddit thread, not from any price or product page LinkedIn publishes. Each is set against what a public LinkedIn or store page showed on 16 October 2026:
| Rupee figure | Plan | Source and date | What a public LinkedIn or store page shows |
|---|---|---|---|
| ₹1,490 a month or ₹12,000 a year | Premium Career | I Digital Academy’s guide, published 4 August 2025, prices “as of July 2025” | No LinkedIn rupee price; the ten items Apple’s India listing shows run ₹999 to ₹1,899 |
| ₹2,299 a month or ₹18,800 a year | Premium Business | Same guide | No rupee price; LinkedIn lists US$69.99 a month |
| ₹3,399 a month or ₹28,800 a year | Sales Navigator Core | Same guide | No rupee price; LinkedIn lists US$119.99 a month |
| ₹4,499 a month or ₹36,000 a year | Recruiter Lite | Same guide | No price in any currency |
| ”14k rupees per month” | Premium Business, which the reviewer says a call-to-action button now requires | A review on Apple’s India listing for LinkedIn, dated 23 September 2025 | No rupee price; LinkedIn lists US$69.99 a month |
| ₹1,850 a month on Google Play, ₹1,015.93 a month on desktop, an “82% markup” | Premium Career | Vaibhav Garg’s LinkedIn post, 6 February 2026 | ₹1,850 is the price on four of Apple’s ten India items; Google Play shows a range only |
| ₹2,400 to ₹2,800 a month | Premium Career | Heyou’s LinkedIn Premium cost guide, published 31 March 2026, updated 9 June 2026 | No LinkedIn rupee price; the ten items Apple’s India listing shows stop at ₹1,899 |
| ₹4,500 to ₹5,000+ a month | Premium Business | Same guide | No rupee price; LinkedIn lists US$69.99 a month |
| ₹8,919.88 a month, marked “(public reference)“ | Sales Navigator Core | Same guide | No rupee price; the Sales Navigator page lists USD, AUD, CAD, EUR and GBP, and no INR |
| About ₹8k a month, “Yearly, 70k after discount” | Premium Company Page, seen through the company page’s option to try Premium | An r/StartUpIndia thread titled “LinkedIn premium is ₹8k/month. OMG”, 21 June 2026 | No rupee price; LinkedIn lists US$99.99 a month |
| ”around ₹1,500-2,000 per month” | Not named | A commenter in the same thread | Not a price on any LinkedIn or store page I read |
Read each one this way:
- The July 2025 guide names no source for its prices (its two “Courtesy” credits to premium.linkedin.com sit under images, not under the price table) and does not mention GST. Its Premium Career list says “See who viewed your profile in the last 90 days”, but LinkedIn’s Career compare page gives Premium Career 365 days, and LinkedIn Help’s comparison of basic and Premium accounts gives a free account 90 days.
- Credit for the app-versus-web comparison on Premium Career belongs to Garg’s post. Its figures are one member’s report, and the post does not mention GST, which changes how its 82% reads (see the app vs web section).
- Heyou’s guide prints “Transparent multi-currency table on LinkedIn’s pricing page” beside its Sales Navigator figure and says “The INR pricing tables for Sales Navigator are public”, but the Sales Navigator compare page’s FAQ listed USD, AUD, CAD, EUR and GBP that day, and its served HTML held no INR or rupee sign.
- Coupons sold in Reddit threads or by resellers are not LinkedIn prices. LinkedIn’s promotional offers FAQ says “Each offer code only works once.”
GST on LinkedIn Premium in India
The app stores include GST in the price they show, while LinkedIn’s GST FAQ gives an 18% rate and, for invoices from LinkedIn India, a separate GST line. What each page says, as of 16 October 2026:
| Page | Its GST or tax wording |
|---|---|
| LinkedIn India GST FAQ | ”LinkedIn will charge GST at the rate of 18% to all LinkedIn products and services, beginning August 15, 2017.” For supplies made through LinkedIn India: “The GST will be shown as a separate line item on your invoice, in addition to the product purchase price.” The same section says: “This information does not apply to supplies made through LinkedIn Singapore Pte. Ltd.” |
| LinkedIn’s Premium product pages | Their dollar prices “may exclude … Goods & Services Tax (GST)“ |
| Google Play’s India listing | ”All prices include GST.” |
| Apple’s India listing | No tax wording |
| Apple’s 2023 developer talk on App Store pricing | ”Prices advertised to customers in all countries except the U.S. and Canada include taxes” |
The GST FAQ, which read “Last updated: 6 months ago” that day, also says:
- LinkedIn began selling through LinkedIn India Sales Private Limited on 1 April 2026, to eligible businesses in India. Customers currently buying from LinkedIn Singapore Pte. Ltd. “will continue to be billed by the Singapore entity until they re-purchase the services.”
- “Non-enterprise customers: If you have a GST registration number in India, you may enter it in your billing information.” From 1 April 2026, LinkedIn India issues e-invoices for business purchases, and a GST-registered buyer has to give LinkedIn its GST number during or before the purchase to claim the tax as an input credit, since “LinkedIn will not be able to update invoices previously issued.”
LinkedIn Premium App vs Web Price: Compare Totals After GST
Garg’s February 2026 post set ₹1,850 a month on Google Play against ₹1,015.93 on desktop and called the difference an 82% markup. He puts the gap down to the platform fees Apple and Google take on in-app purchases, “15 to 30% of the transaction” in his words; LinkedIn’s own price and help pages do not say so. Google Play’s price includes GST by Google Play’s own line, and the post does not say whether ₹1,015.93 does, so the gap depends on the reading:
| Reading of the desktop figure | Desktop total a month | App price a month | App costs more by | App costs more over 12 months |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ₹1,015.93 is the whole desktop charge (the post’s arithmetic) | ₹1,015.93 | ₹1,850 | ₹834.07, or 82% | ₹10,008.84 |
| ₹1,015.93 is before 18% GST | ₹1,198.80 | ₹1,850 | ₹651.20, or 54% | ₹7,814.40 |
The second row is my arithmetic at the 18% rate in LinkedIn’s GST FAQ: 1,015.93 x 1.18 = 1,198.80. LinkedIn’s product pages put no figure on the gap and say only that “Slight variations may occur across device types.”
Before you subscribe in the app:
- Sign in to LinkedIn in a desktop browser, open linkedin.com/premium/products and note the plan, billing period and total after tax.
- Open the upgrade screen in the app and note the price for the same plan and period.
- Compare the two totals, never a total against a figure quoted without its tax line.
One option exists only on the web: Premium Duo, which shares Career or Business with a second member, can for now be bought only on LinkedIn’s desktop website, per LinkedIn’s Premium Duo help page.
How to Pay for LinkedIn Premium in India
LinkedIn’s own checkout takes UPI in India, according to its payment methods page for online purchases, which read “Last updated: 4 months ago” on 16 October 2026:
- UPI: “If you’re in India, you can now use Unified Payment Interface (UPI), an available payment method, for your purchases on LinkedIn.”
- RuPay is accepted, though “not every RuPay card issuer is compatible with the RBI’s e-mandate requirements”.
- Cards issued on American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa and JCB are accepted, and Google Pay and Apple Pay work for Premium on desktop and mobile web only.
- In the iOS app, “purchases can only be managed through your Apple account”.
Sales Navigator Price in India (and Recruiter Lite)
LinkedIn publishes no rupee price for either. The Sales Navigator compare page lists these per license in its FAQ:
| Sales Navigator plan | Best for, per LinkedIn | Per month | Per year | Annual saving LinkedIn states |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Core | Individual sellers | US$119.99 | US$1,079.88 | 25% |
| Advanced | Sales teams | US$159.99 | US$1,799.88 | 6% |
| Advanced Plus | Sales teams using integrated CRM | ”Request demo for pricing” | Not listed | Not listed |
The page repeats the prices in AUD, CAD, EUR and GBP, carries the same “may exclude … GST” and “Slight variations may occur across device types” note as the Premium pages, and sends you to the trial buttons “for actual prices and additional currencies”. Its “View Core pricing” link returned the same redirect to sign-in from India.
LinkedIn’s Recruiter Lite page shows no price in any currency, and its “Try now for $0” button leads to the same sign-in. LinkedIn Help’s comparison of Recruiter plans says Recruiter Lite “can be purchased online as a monthly or yearly subscription” and includes 30 InMail messages per month.
LinkedIn Premium Cost in India vs USA
Apple’s US listing for the same app, at the same version, shows two plans among its ten rows where the India listing shows one:
| Apple App Store, 16 October 2026 | Items shown | Names | Prices |
|---|---|---|---|
| India | 10 | Premium Career on all ten | ₹999 to ₹1,899 |
| United States | 10 | Premium Career on eight, Premium Business on two, one of each labelled “Subscription with Free Trial” | Career at $29.99 or $39.99, Business at $69.99 |
LinkedIn’s dollar list price for a month of Premium Career, US$39.99, is the price on five of the ten US items. Converted, it sits far above anything Apple shows in India:
- At ₹95.0691 per US dollar, the rate for 15 October 2026 in RBI’s Reference Rate Archive (tick USD and enter the date), US$39.99 is ₹3,802 and US$29.99 is ₹2,851. Both are above ₹1,899, the top price on Apple’s India listing, and US$39.99 comes to about twice it. These conversions are my arithmetic.
- Apple’s India prices include tax and its US prices do not, under the Apple rule quoted in the GST section.
A dollar conversion overstates what Premium costs from India, so I would not estimate an India price from a US guide.
What Each LinkedIn Premium Plan Adds Over Free LinkedIn
LinkedIn’s two compare pages and its product pages list what each plan adds, as of 16 October 2026. Premium Career against a free account:
| Feature | Free LinkedIn | Premium Career |
|---|---|---|
| InMail | Not included | 5 InMail credits each month, to message hiring managers outside your network |
| Who’s viewed your profile | Limited | Viewers, trends and insights for the past 365 days, and anonymous browsing |
| LinkedIn Learning | Not included | 25,000+ courses, plus AI-powered coaching |
| Job search | Job posts and Easy Apply where enabled | Top applicant jobs, top choice jobs, AI-powered insights on job posts and advanced search filters |
| Writing help | Not included | Profile writing assistance and a message proofreader |
The small-business plans against a free account, from the Small Business compare page, with the monthly InMail counts from each product page:
| Feature | Free | Premium Business | All-in-One | Company Page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| InMail | No | 15 a month, credits roll over for 3 months | 30 a month, credits roll over for 3 months | No |
| Who’s viewed your profile or Page | Limited view | Previous 365 days | Previous 365 days | Previous 365 days |
| Unlimited search | Basic search filters | Yes | Yes | No |
| Custom call-to-action button, credibility highlights, dynamic cover images | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Profile writing assistance, daily prospect suggestions, prospect insights, monthly hiring credits | No | No | Yes | No |
| Follower invites, enhanced Page visibility (not widely available yet) | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Monthly credits to boost posts, custom testimonial | No | No | No | Yes |
- All-in-One’s trial button on the compare page carries an asterisk, and the line beneath the table reads “Currently available to a limited group.”
- The compare page ticks the custom call-to-action button for Business, All-in-One and Company Page. LinkedIn’s Help page on the custom button limits it to “a select group” of Premium Business, Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite subscribers, as I set out in my post on where creator mode’s profile link went.
Is LinkedIn Premium Worth It in India?
LinkedIn Premium is worth it in India only if you will use a feature free LinkedIn lacks: InMail credits (5 a month on Career, 15 on Business, 30 on All-in-One), the 365-day viewer list, LinkedIn Learning’s 25,000+ courses or the Company Page tools. Match the job to the plan before you look at any price:
- Job seekers who message hiring managers: Premium Career, for 5 InMail credits a month, the 365-day viewer list and LinkedIn Learning. What a free account already shows of your viewers is in my comparison of search appearances and profile views.
- Finding clients: All-in-One where LinkedIn offers it (“Currently available to a limited group”), for prospect suggestions and 30 InMail credits a month, or Sales Navigator Core, which LinkedIn pitches at individual sellers.
- Growing a company Page: Company Page, for post-boost credits, follower invites and a custom testimonial.
- Reading your profile analytics by section: possibly Premium Business. LinkedIn’s sample of the Profile engagement panel carries a Premium label and sits below a box reading “This feature is currently available only for Premium Business subscribers”, as I found when working out what impressions on your experience means.
LinkedIn’s Premium FAQ says a subscription “may be refundable within seven days from the date the subscription is charged without Premium usage”, so a month you use counts as a paid month. With no rupee price on LinkedIn’s public pages, the feature-against-cost comparison only works once you see your own checkout total.
On free routes, LinkedIn’s free trial help page says not every member qualifies and that a trial converts to a paid plan unless you cancel before it ends, and LinkedIn Help marks the Microsoft 365 Premium Career student offer as no longer available. Airtel’s Insider page listed Super Duolingo and PocketFM as that month’s perks, with no LinkedIn offer, when I opened it logged out on 16 October 2026.
LinkedIn Premium Cost in India Is a Checkout Total
As of 16 October 2026, the LinkedIn Premium cost in India is public in rupees only as app-store prices and other people’s reports.
Recheck these on the day you pay, since all of them change:
- Apple’s India listing, for the per-item rupee prices
- Google Play’s India listing, for the range and its GST line
- The FAQ on LinkedIn’s Premium Career page, for the dollar list price and its “Last updated” date
- linkedin.com/premium/products after you sign in, where LinkedIn’s product pages send you “for actual prices”
Sign in on a laptop, note the total after GST, and set it against the app’s upgrade screen before you subscribe.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is LinkedIn Premium per month in India?
LinkedIn shows no rupee price to a logged-out visitor. On 16 October 2026, Apple's India App Store showed ten Premium Career items from ₹999 to ₹1,899 with no billing period, and a February 2026 member post reported Premium Career at ₹1,850 a month on Google Play and ₹1,015.93 a month on desktop.
What is the LinkedIn Premium cost in India per year?
No LinkedIn or app-store page labels a rupee price as annual as of 16 October 2026, and the annual rupee figures I found are reports, such as a July 2025 guide's unsourced ₹12,000 a year for Premium Career. LinkedIn's Premium FAQ lists monthly, quarterly and annual billing, with quarterly still rolling out, and its Career page lists US$239.88 a year against US$39.99 a month before sending you to a trial button, behind a sign-in, for actual prices.
Does LinkedIn Premium include GST in India?
App store prices do: Google Play's India page says all prices include GST, and Apple includes tax in prices outside the US and Canada. LinkedIn's GST FAQ says LinkedIn charges GST at 18% on all its products, but its statement that GST appears as a separate invoice line covers purchases from LinkedIn India, which sells to eligible businesses, and the FAQ says that section does not apply to purchases billed by LinkedIn Singapore. No LinkedIn page I read says which entity bills an individual's Premium plan, so check the tax line at your own checkout.
Why is the LinkedIn Premium app price different from the web price?
LinkedIn's product pages give no reason, saying only that slight price variations may occur across device types. A February 2026 member post put the difference down to the 15 to 30% platform fees Apple and Google take on in-app purchases, and reported ₹1,850 a month on Google Play against ₹1,015.93 on desktop, an 82% gap, or 54% if the desktop figure was before 18% GST.
Why does LinkedIn's pricing page show no price?
LinkedIn's Career and Small Business compare pages show features and no price, and their pricing and trial buttons sent a logged-out visitor in India to LinkedIn's sign-in page on 16 October 2026. The product pages list US dollar prices and point to trial buttons for actual prices and other currencies, and those buttons led to sign-in too.
